How to play Thanksgiving Bingo
- Print the cards. Choose the number of players, press Make new cards and print. Each card has 24 Thanksgiving pictures and a free 🦃 turkey square.
- Find markers. Candy corn, dried beans, cereal or popcorn kernels are perfect and very on-theme.
- Start the caller. In the Caller tab press Start. A new picture appears every few seconds and the caller reads it out: “Pumpkin Pie”, “Football”, “Wishbone”.
- First line wins. When someone shouts BINGO, check their card number in Check a card.
The game that keeps everyone at the table
Thanksgiving afternoons have a long gap between the meal and dessert. Bingo fills it without screens for everyone, without teams to argue about and without rules to explain. Little cousins play with the pictures, grandparents play with the words, and the game is over in ten minutes if people want to get back to the football.
Thanksgiving twist: the gratitude rule
When a player wins, before they collect a prize they say one thing they are thankful for this year. It turns a simple game into the moment everyone remembers.
Prize ideas
- First slice of pie, or first pick of the leftovers
- Skipping dish duty
- Choosing the next game or the movie
- Small fall treats: caramel apples, cookies, a mini pumpkin
