How to play Halloween Bingo
- Make the cards. Pick the number of players, press Make new cards and print. Every card is different, with a free 🎃 square in the middle.
- Use candy as markers. Candy corn and small chocolates are traditional — players eat their markers at the end.
- Call it. In the Caller tab press Start. The caller shows a spooky picture and says it out loud: “Black Cat”, “Haunted House”, “Zombie”.
- BINGO! First full line wins. Check it with the card number in Check a card.
A Halloween party game that is not too scary
Halloween bingo is a favourite classroom party activity because it needs almost no setup, keeps a room of excited children sitting down for twenty minutes, and works for every reading level. The pictures are friendly rather than frightening, so it suits younger grades too.
Spooky variations
- Pumpkin pattern: play for the letter X or four corners instead of a line.
- Lights off: put the caller in Big screen mode on the classroom projector and dim the lights.
- Costume bonus: a winner in costume gets two prizes.
