How to play Christmas Bingo
- Make the cards. Choose how many players you have, press Make new cards and print. Every card is different and has a free 🎄 square in the middle.
- Hand out cards and markers. Crayons, candy, buttons or chocolate chips all work as markers.
- Call the game. Open the Caller tab on a phone, laptop or TV. Press Start and the caller shows and says one Christmas picture at a time — “Reindeer”, “Hot Cocoa”, “Snowman”.
- Shout BINGO! The first player with a full line (across, down or diagonal) wins. Type their card number into Check a card to confirm it in two seconds.
Why picture bingo works so well at Christmas
Number bingo needs players who can read and follow numbers quickly. Picture bingo does not. A four-year-old can find the snowman on their card just as fast as grandpa can, which makes it one of the few games the whole family can play together after Christmas dinner. Teachers use it as a calm, low-prep activity for the last day before the winter break, and offices use it at holiday parties where people only have ten minutes.
Ideas for prizes
- Candy canes, chocolate coins or a small bag of cookies
- A “first pick” from the gift pile or the dessert table
- Small stocking stuffers: pencils, stickers, ornaments, hand warmers
- For offices: a coffee voucher or the right to leave 30 minutes early
Game ideas
- Quick game: one line wins (about 8–12 calls).
- Longer game: four corners, then the letter X, then blackout (whole card).
- On Zoom: share your screen with the caller in Big screen mode, and email each family a PDF of their cards.
